A BIT ABOUT MINDY & MIN LLC
Hello! I’m Mindy Anderson, a dedicated community advocate with over two decades of experience as a business owner and volunteer on Bainbridge Island. After selling my pet sitting business, Aunty Min's Specialized Pet Care, in 2023, I have shifted my focus to supporting nonprofits in fundraising, expanding their outreach, and enhancing their visibility within the community. I have successfully organized a variety of memorable events, such as annual galas, golf scrambles, and community appreciation gatherings. I thrive on collaborating with organizations that share my values and enjoy partnering with individuals who aim to create impactful events for causes that truly make a difference in our community. I am particularly drawn to those organizations centered on animal welfare and empowering women in crisis.

MIN LLC is a nonprofit consulting and event production company founded by Mindy Anderson in 2024. We collaborate closely with nonprofit organizations on promotion, community engagement and events. We also work with individuals looking to host events that support causes aligned with our mission of fostering positive change in the community. Additionally, our goal in creating events, is to make sure the audience has FUN while raising FUNDS for the organization.

Monthly Fundraising / Community Engagement includes:

Promote the organization via social media.

Assist the organization in creating language in newsletters to drive open rate.

Introduce the organization to community members to increase donorship, volunteerism and awareness of their mission.​​

Work with the organization to create small events such as golf scrambles, wine events, private tours, etc...

Look for community partners to create fundraisers for the organization.

FUNDRAISING CONSULTING - $60/HR

​​​Work with the organization to create the theme, financial goal, and “feel” of the event.​​

Work with the organization to create sponsor packet and/or letter and assist them in identifying potential sponsors for the event. Keep track of sponsor letters sent out, and assist in follow up as needed.

Work with the organization to create procurement letter and assist them in identifying potential donors and items / packages for the event. Keep track of list and follow up as needed.

Lead and run the event committee meetings - create agendas, sub-committees, set timelines and deadlines. Assist in recruiting committee members if needed.

Work with the event location management on details such as menu, attendee and meal deadlines, timeline of event, sound, event activities, decor at the venue.

Work with the graphic designer on event materials (item descriptions, bid sheets, posters, catalog, etc...). Alternatively, we can help create these materials for an additional cost.

Keep track of and communicate with event attendees.

Promote the event via social media, printed materials and press release.

Follow-up after event with attendees, donors and sponsors.
